Problem summary


    

  • java.sql.SQLException.setNextException() ends up in a recursive
call when it attempt to add the same SQLException or SQLWarning
object to the Exception chain

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR15
6.0.1 SR7
7.0.0 SR6
.
The JDK has been updated to avoid adding the same SQLException
or SQLWarning object to the Exception chain if it already exists
in the chain.
