Error description

  • Error Message: A reflective or JNI invocation of a method from a
    java program fails to invoke a correct method after the class
    redefinition.

Local fix

  • This issue can be worked around by disabling the JIT compiler by
    specifying -Xint on the command line. Please note that this will
    have a significant performance impact.
    

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when a class is redefined and the JVM
    fails to dispatch JNI or reflective method calls to the new
    definition.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR6
    6.0.1 SR7
    .
    The JVM has been updated to invoke the correct method definition
    after the class redefinition.
