Error description

• Error Message: The applet/application use to hang with Mixed
  Code Verification Security Dialog box in case of Internet
  Explorer while switching from one view to another. The security
  dialog box appears twice and the hang observed after proceeding
  from the second dialog box.

Local fix

• One of the following option can be used to work around this
  issue:-
  .
  1.Using Manifest file :
  Use "Trusted-Library Attribute" in the manifest files of signed
  application jars. Details available at
  http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/jweb/mixed
  _code.html#manifest
  .
  2. Using Java Control Panel :
  In the Java Control Panel, click on the Advanced tab.
  Expand the Mixed code (Sandboxed Vs. trusted) security
  verification option under the Security section. We will see the
  four options under this.
  Enable the second option i.e. "Enable - hide warning and run
  with protections".
  .
  3. Using deployment.properties file:
  Add the following property in the deployment.properties file -
  deployment.security.mixcode=HIDE_RUN
  .
  4. Use Mozilla browser instead of Internet Explorer
  

Problem summary

• The hang is due to security validation occurred before the
  applet initialization is completed in the IE environment.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.0 SR15
  6.0.1 SR7
  .
  The JDK has been updated to avoid the security validation till
  the applet initialization is completed.
