    Problem Description: In the installation and configuration
    guide it states the following with regard to selinux on RHEL:
    
    On page 8 and again on page 48:
    
    In the current Red Hat 5 distributions, the SELinux environment
    is switched on by default. It must be switched off for IBM
    Tivoli System Automation to work properly.
    
    Needs to be updated to reflect the same information for RHEL 6.

  • Disable selinux on RHEL 5/6

Problem conclusion

  • The Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatforms Installation and
    Configuration guide will be updated as follows to address this
    issue:
    
    Chapter 1. Installing on UNIX and Linux
      Preparing for installation
        Prerequisites
    
     The last bullet of the bullet list will be changed from:
    
       In the current Red Hat 5 distributions, the SELinux
       environment is switched on by default. It must be switched
       off for IBM Tivoli System Automation to work properly.
    
     to:
    
       In the current Red Hat RHEL 5 and RHEL 6 distributions, the
       SELinux environment is switched on by default. It must be
       switched off for IBM Tivoli System Automation to work
       properly.
    
    Chapter 4. Installing the operations console
      Preparing for the installation of the IBM Tivoli System

        Installation prerequisites
