When compiling with -qipa and -qhot enabled, the ipa component of the compiler is encountering an internal compiler error during the final IPA link/recompile stage: 1586-494 (U) INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: Signal 11. The issue is related to -qhot usage, and does not occur if -qhot is removed, or set to -qhot=level=0 .
Remove -qhot usage, or use -qhot=level=0
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Internal compiler error during the early stage of an IPA link step due to an internal inconsistent counting of total number of function calls in a function. USERS AFFECTED: Any user that compiles a program using IPA.
The issue has been corrected.
