issue in the ORB, a Java application suffers a noticeable
degradation in throughput.

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by a refactoring in the ORB classes that
made it impossible for the JIT compiler to optimize deep copy
operations.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.1 SR7
7.0.0 SR6
.
The JIT compiler has been updated to recognize the changed
classes in the ORB code, and optimize them correctly.
