IV44530: CONNOT GET SCCD INTO MAINTENANCE MODE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After following the procedures for putting SCCD into maintenance
  mode,
  the product just sites there with no error or other console
  messages
  but never gets into maintenance mode to we can perform our
  database
  commits.

  Please submit an APAR.  Note the fix the customer has validated
  is not
  official.
  
  For whomever works on the APAR, when establishing the expiration
  date,
  grab the "postdate" as a java.util.date and then setTime().
  Essentially, base the expiration date/time on the post
  date/time.
