Error description
In every access profile we have configured the passwords to be generated with Minimum 8 characters, Maximum 8 Characters, 4 alpha and 4 numeric. This means we expect 8 characters to be generated each time. Intermittently however for 3 of our Applications, the Access Agent is only generating 6 character passwords. One of them is the out of the box profile for SAP, where 6 character passwords get generated and filled into the New Password and Confirm Password fields instead of 8. . Business impact ( BusImpact ) When user passwords expire or need to be changed as a One Time Password, when prompted for a change and the access agent puts in less characters than the minimum causing the applications to not accept the new password. This is impacting usability.
