NOT REGRESSION - Checked 22.214.171.124 GA release and it is the same as current release 10.3.1. QA SUMMARY Security Equipment Asset Spec Class root node "Computer and Peripherals" does not match Specification record root node "Security Equipment". There are other Specification and Asset record where the Spec Class is not in sync. The categories should align. Dave Wilson reviewed and provided corrections. Refer to the email in Links. QA STEPS TO REPLICATE 1. Log in as Admin 2. Portfolio > Specifications 3. Portfolio > Assets 4. ISSUE - Check Spec Class list in each Specification record, then check Spec Class in each Asset record. L2 INFORMATION See attached for screen captures from Customer Environment. For Security specifications: When creating or editing an asset it appears that you could change the spec class but when you pull up the listing the root path is defaulted to computers and peripherals. I also notice that when you try to change it to something else it reverts. Create or open an Asset (as an example select a Security Equipment asset) Based on my default Spec Name the Spec Class defaults Security Type Do a search on the Spec Class and note that the Root Spec Class is Computers and Peripherals. You cannot locate the Security Type spec class in the available navigation. Also if you try to change the spec class it immediately reverts to the original setting. ============================ Example 2 Open an existing building Equipment Asset In this case the Spec Name is Air Handler and Spec Class is Air Handlers Do a search on spec class (note the root spec class is Operations and Air Handlers does exist) If you try to change it it reverts to Air Handlers ============================ Example 3 Open an existing building Equipment Asset In this case the Spec Name is AC Condenser and Spec class is Air Conditioner Root spec class is Operations but Air Conditioner does not exist. manipulate classification fields
The Spec Class field in Spec Information section of all Asset forms has been made Read-Only. Also the Spec Class field on Core and Key Specification forms is now displaying the correct specification hierarchy list instead of ROOT specification hierarchy list.
