Error description

  • Error Message: The IBMPKCS11Impl provider is missing logic to
handle the Cipher "DESede/CBC/PKCS5Padding" (aka DESede/CBC/Pad)
resulting in a NoSuchAlgorithmException being thrown whenever
this algorithm is invoked.
Logic also needs to be added to recognize and process the Cipher
strings  "TripleDES/CBC/PKCS5Padding" and "TripleDES/CBC/Pad"
which are both synonyms for the Cipher above.

Problem summary


    

  • The IBMPKCS11Impl provider is missing logic to handle the Cipher
"DESede/CBC/PKCS5Padding" (aka DESede/CBC/Pad)
resulting in a NoSuchAlgorithmException being thrown whenever
this algorithm is invoked.
Logic also needs to be added to recognize and process the Cipher

Logic has been added to the IBMPKCS11Impl provider to support
the Cipher strings described.
