IV42015: FLOAT/DOUBLE VALUE INCORRECTLY OVERWRITTEN ACROSS JNI CALL
Closed as program error.
Error Message: N/A . Stack Trace: N/A .
This issue can be worked around with the JVM option -Xjit:disableHighWordRA,diableHighWordGRA.
A float or double value is incorrectly kept in a floating point register used by a Java Native Interface call. As a result, the original float/double value is lost across the call. This problem will occur only with 31-bit Java 6.0.1 and Java 7 running on z/Enterprise 196 or newer hardware.
This defect will be fixed in: 6.0.1 SR6 7.0.0 SR5 . The JVM has been updated to preserve such float/double values across Java Native Interface calls.
