Local fix

Problem summary

  • The issue is caused because RHEL 5.x kernels do not have the
hrtimers patch, due to which clock_getres() does not return a
    precise enough time resolution.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR5
    .
The following JVM option has been provided to override the check
that results in this error message:
-Xgc:overrideHiresTimerCheck. Overriding this check allows the
JVM to be created but does not necessarily mean GC will be able
to meet the target pause time setting.
