Error description

  • OMNIbus: 7.3.1 FP6
    OS: Windows (nco_event)

    The issue only occurs on Windows native event list and not seen
    on UNIX native event list.

    The issue can be recreated using the following steps:
    1. Login to ObjectServer via nco_config
    2. Go to Menu -> Prompts,create a Prompt_1
    3. Go to Menu -> Tools, create a tool using Prompt_1 as Journal
    Entry
    4. Go to Menu -> Menus, add tool into ObjectServer menu
    5. Go to ObjectServer Native Event List, run the tool, 'Cancel'
    and 'Help' button are ok.
    6. Go to Menu -> Prompts,create another Prompt_2
    7. Go to Menu -> Tools, edit the same tool to add Prompt_2 as
    Journal Entry, so it looks like $prompt.Prompt_1
    $prompt.Prompt_2
    8. Go to ObjectServer Event List and run the tool again,
    'Cancel' and 'Help' button are overlapped

Local fix

  • Manually widening the windows, "Cancel" and "Help" are
    shown correctly.
