Problem summary

  • In our FIPS testing, we discovered that CA bundle still has an
MD5 root CA for "Thawte Premium Server CA".  In 2010, Thawte
rebuilt the cert as SHA-1 with the same public key and same
name.  We need CA bundle to include the SHA-1 cert instead of
MD5.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
7.0.0 SR5
6.0.1 SR6
6.0.0 SR14
