Description: The machine policy of AccessAgenta on all remote clients are NOT synchronized with IMS. Environment: IMS Version: 8.1 AA Version: 8.1 FP4 AA OS: Windows 2008 Customer has a terminal service server. When customer did following steps, they experienced a problem. 1. Set pid_logoff_manual_enabled=yes in machine policy on IMS. 2. Logs on this server from two RDP clients (or Citrix clients) and also logs on AccessAgent on both sessions. 3. Check popup menu of AATray that there is a menu "Log off AccessAgent" on both clients. 4. Change "Allow user to manually logoff by user" (pid_logoff_manual_enabled) to No on IMS 5. Wait for double of sync period. 6. Check popup menu of AATray if there is a menu "Log off AccessAgent" on both clients. "Log off AccessAgent" was still displayed on one of two clients. (7. "Log off AccessAgent" was vanishd when Logoff and logon RDP and AccessAgent.) This is easy to recreate. 1 AA 8.1.4 on Windows 2008 R2 Standard. 2 Create new machine policy as default value and assigned it. 3 Set sync period to 5 min 4 Two RDP clients logged on user test and test1.
Syncronization of machine policies across sessions on a terminal server does not work. Only one session will get the new policy value.
