IV37126: PO HEADER REFERENCING CONTRACT NUMBER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1)create 2 Purchase contracts TYPE = BLANKET
  2)One contract is with ATI for a Standard service
  3)One contract is with ATI  for an item
  3)Authorize both contracts for Bedford
  4)Approve both contracts
  5)Create a new Purchase Requesition  standard service and for
  the item
  6)Enter a PR line for for your standard service( make sure the
  PR line references your contract)
  7)Enter a PR Line for the item(make sure the PR line references
  your contract)
  8)Look at the PR header it does not reference either of the
  contract numbers
  9)Select action create PO
  10) go to the PO that was created
  The PO header references one of the contracts
  If I follow the exact same steps, only I create Purchase
  Contracts TYPE = PURCHASE instead of BLANKET then the PO header
  does not reference either contract.
