Problem summary

  * IBM Maximo for Utilities 7.5 users, with another Maximo      *
  * industry solution or addon, upgrading to 7.5.0.1.            *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * In fix pack 7.5.0.1, part of Utilities functionality was     *
  * migrated to Maximo, and the respective Java classes were     *
  * removed from Utilities product. But if another product was   *
  * installed with Utilities 7.5, like Transportation, they were *
  * both extending some Maximo functionality. For these removed  *
  * classes, UpdateDB was unable to update some Transportation   *
  * classes accordingly, causing errors like "class is not       *
  * abstract and does not override abstract method".             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Please install the latest Utilities 7.5.0.1 interim fix.     *
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

• The upgrade process will now scan remote interfaces with this
  problem and remove the reference to the old Utilities classes.
