Error description
While building a pdf executable, the following warning is observed: Warning: PDF file "my.profile" version mismatch: 8 != 10. File will be ignored. 1586-421 (W) File "my.profile" has invalid format. Nevertheless, the compile/link is still performed even though the pdf file cannot be used. The compile should be stopped when such an error occurs, instead of proceeding with a warning message.

Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: Anyone that uses -qpdf2 and PDF files from older/newer compiler releases are affected by this issue. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Compiler does not halt if PDF data is invalid. Instead it issues a warning and continues with compilation as if there were no PDF information available. The idea is to change the warning message to a (S)evere message and halt compilation.
Problem conclusion
Halting on errors like this is more intuitive than a simple warning, as most clients who use -qpdf2 expect the binary to be optimized based on the PDF information.
