IV36484: ADD SERVER OFFERING FAILS AT SHARED STORAGE PANEL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem lies with the new version of PMRDP_0211A_72 that
  ships with the NetApp extension, which lives in the
  custom_web.war.
  .
  Before any attempt is made to create the request, it is not
  possible to move past the Storage Configuration page of the
  wizard, without
  any Storage Projects available for selection.
  Removing this obstacle by commenting out the validation checks,
  since the NetApp version of PMRDP_0201A_72 doesn't care about
  these checks, the following SSUI error is displayed:

  CTJZH2305E: You have input fields with invalid values. You must
  correct these errors before continuing.
  .
  The request is sent anyway but the offering window remains on
  the screen, after closing the CTJZH2305E error.
  The only option left is to Cancel the the window, but the
  request has already been sent and runs to completion,
  without problems.

Problem conclusion

• In Add Server Wizard,
  it is not possible to move past the Storage Configuration page o
  f the
  wizard, without any Storage Projects available for selection.
  
  As a fix for this APAR, L3 modified PMRDP_0211A_72.js present in
  custom_web war.
  
  For permanent resolution install Network Attached Storage
  Extension v2.0.0.1 on Tivoli Service Automation Manager  7.2.3
  when it would be uploaded to ISML.
