IV36449: ABLE TO ENTER METER READING EVEN IF THE ASSET HAS THE STATUS OF DECOMMISSIONED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ACM issue. We are able to enter meter reading even if the asset
  has the
  status to DECOMMISSIONED
  
  Environment :

  Problem Details:
  
  1. Go To Assets (CM) application. Select an asset that has a
  status of
  DECOMMISSIONED.  In our example, the ?Moved? checkbox is also
  ticked
  
  2. From the Select Action menu, choose ?Enter Meter Readings?.
  You are
  not able to add meter reading. This is making sense since the
  asset is
  decommissioned.
  
  3. But, if you go to the View tab and in the Direct sub tab.
  You click
  on the ?New Row? button, you are able to add meter reading. This
  is not
  aligned with the business rules of the Base Maximo.
  
  Therefore we suspect an issue within the Asset Configuration
  Manager
  (ACM) industry solution.
  
  
  Note from ACM L3:
