Local fix

  • No work around.

Problem summary

  • The failing zip files have an extra bytes at the end of the file
which are able to handle by other standard zip programs, but not
with Java Zip functionality.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR14
6.0.1 SR6
.
JDK has been updated to handle the zip files which has "extra"
bytes padded at the end of the zipfile.
The issue is addressed in Oracle JDK through bug 4985614 and
4776464.
