Error description
Stabstrings generated for arrays bounded by a static value are invalid. This may cause problems while debugging, or errors when compiling with -bstabcmpct:2. Errors seen in the linker -bloadmap output may be similar to the following examples: --------------------------------- ld: 0711-377 STABSTRING ERROR: Symbol table entry 71, object file test.o Type 6 has multiple definitions. [20] m 0x00000000 -2 0 0x8c 0x0000 :t6=ar0;1;S#1;-13 [71] m 0x00000000 -2 0 0x8c 0x0000 :t6=ar0;1;S#1;-13 --------------------------------- ld: 0711-385 STABSTRING ERROR: Symbol table entry 16, object file test2.o Integer expected. Character # seen. Remainder of stabstring is: #1;-29 [16] m 0x00000000 -2 0 0x8c 0x0000 :t5=ar0;1;S#1;-29 --------------------------------- The issue is seen with both Fortran and C/C++ source.
