IV36025: WOT (CM) - VIEW CM RULES DIALOG BOX ALLOWS EDITING OF VARIOUS FIELDS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• From the Work Order Tracking (CM) application - when "CM Rules"
  is
  selected from the select action menu and the "CM Rules" dialogue
  box is
  presented - some of the fields show as editable, although they
  should
  be "read only".  The window allows you to select/deselect
  options,
  giving the appearance that it is editable, but no changes are
  saved.
  
  Steps to replicate:
  1) Create a work order against a CM Asset:
  
  2) Select ?CM Rules? from the select action menu
  
  
  3) The CM Rules window that shows up has editable fields (and it
     should be read only):
     a) see the screen below ? the ?MEL?? box is unchecked:
     b) I have now checked the ?MEL?? box, from the CM Rules
        window in Work Order Tracking (CM):
  
  4) Click ?OK? to ?save changes? and close window.
  
  5) Save the record
  
  6) Re-launch the ?CM Rules? window from the select action menu ?
     as can be seen ? no changes were committed or saved:
