APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When trying to migrate policies from 3.8 to 3.9 ,
policy interface filter is lost.


In ITNM 3.8 interface  filter is stored on policy.ifScopeId
column

In 3.9 interface filter is defined at template level
(template.ifScopeId)


The migration process:

3.8 - ncp_perl get_policies.pl  -from domain=NCOMS -to
file=get_policies_NCOMS.dat

3.9 - ncp_perl get_policies.pl  -from
file=get_policies_NCOMS.dat  -to domain=NCOMS

fails to tranfer the interface filter (policy.ifScopeId ->
template.ifScopeId)
