Error description

  • BMXAA82 Refetch and try again Error creating followup WO in
    Mobile
    
    From Maximo Web Interface:
    
    1. Setup a query to download some work orders to Maximo mobile
    work manager
    
    (status='INPRG' and owner =:user)
    
    2. Assign an owner to a duplicated work order which will be
    downloaded to the mobile (open INPRG work order, assign WILSON
    as owner from select owner menu)
    
    
    
    From Mobile Emulator (or Device) :
    
    3. Login as WILSON
    
    4. Refresh work list and make sure the previous work order is
    received (the one with WILSON as owner)
    
    
    5. Create a follow-up work order for this work order
    
    6. Send Changes to Maximo
    
    From Maximo Web Interface Again:
    
    7. Check related records of the work order we updated, nothing
    is there
    
    8. Check mobile error management application for the error
    message (usually takes few minutes to see it)
    
    
    BMXAA8229W - Record WORKORDER :  Site=XXXX Work Order=XXXXX has
    been updated by another user. Your changes have not been saved.
    Refresh the record and try again.
    
    
    Issue not reproduced when creating a new Workorder in Maximo
    core.
    
    The issue is reproduced when:
    
     Work Orders are Duplicated in WO app
     Work Orders generated from PM
     Work Orders generated from SR
    
    
    Tested reported issue and reproduced in 7.5.0.0  with Mobile

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

  • In this scenario, the application was incorrectly attempting to
    update the same record twice in the database, the bug was fixed
    performing the update only once.
