IV35427: SPATIAL QUERY DISABLES CLEAR BUTTON ON ASSET LIST SCREEN.

Error description

• Steps to replicate in Maximo 7.1.1.6, Spatial 7.1.1.1,
  Maxdemo database:
  
  - Login to Maximo as wilson
  
  - Go to Assets application > Map tab
  
  - With the Map on the screen, click on Query By Attributes
  
  - From Query By Attributes, enter a valid query and click on
  Search to get the Asset records
  
  - Suppose that the query returns two Assets records: ASSET01 and
  ASSET02
  
  - Click on Update Application List button and system opens the
  List tab with both Assets records, ASSET01 and ASSET02
  
  Notice that in the List tab, the Clear button is disabled
  
  - Still in the List tab, change the filter. For example, in the
  filter column Asset, type 11% and hit enter key
  
  Notice that it returns "No rows to display".
  
  - Select Advanced Search > Where Clause
  
  Notice that the Where Clause has been built as the following:
  ((assetnum='ASSET01' and siteid='BEDFORD') or
  (assetnum='ASSET02' and siteid='BEDFORD')) and ((assetnum like
  '11%'))
  

Local fix

• No workaround has been found.

Problem conclusion

• Clear button is now enabled when Update Application List is
  used, and the selection was converted into a Query By Example
  selection, allowing Clear to work properly.
