Error description

  • A test program gives out incorrect output from incorrect select
    case logic flow. If adding a case clause with only a WRITE
    statement, the program flow is correct.
    

Local fix

  • -qxflag=nrce works around the issue.
    

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When fusing two adjacent switch
    statements, Redundant Condition Elimination misses the code
    between the two statement in some cases, causing incorrect
    output.
    
    USERS AFFECTED: user using -qhot and all implying options.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Problem is fixed. Apply recommended service.
