IV34000: CICS APPLICATION SERVER HANGS AFTER A XAER_PROTO ERROR

Error description

• TXSeries has an XA connection to an Oracle database.  During nor
  mal recovery processing an error is incountered by Oracle
  xaosterr: OCITransStart rtn 1031
  This in turn causes the cicsas processing the recovery work to
  enter a hang condition.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• CICS Application Server process hangs after receiving XAER_PROTO
  error from Resource manager like Oracle, You may see similar
  error messge getting logged into CICS region console file before
  the application server hang,

Problem conclusion

• The code has been corrected to terminate the CICS Application
