Error description

  • Error Message: N/A
    .
    Stack Trace: N/A
    .
Java program consumed CPU time without making progress.

Local fix

  • -Xjit:disableDynamicLoopTransfer will make the infinite loop
    disappear.

Problem summary

  • When dynamic loop is transferred in, we steer the control to the
right point of execution instead of directly jumping/branching
to that point in order to keep the regular IL loop structures.
When a block is the entry of multiple loops, the steering code
    can create an infinite loop.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR13
    6.0.1 SR5
    7.0.0 SR4
    .
    Avoid creating the infinite loop.
