Error description

  • Title: Data synch stages all the groups on all services into a
    table created upon schema mapping of a specific service group
    profile
    
    
    Description: Whenever we map some of the attributes of group
    profile of
    a service, say AD service from "Reports->Schema Mapping" and run
    data
    sync, ADGROUPPROFILE table gets created in ITIM database. Now
    ideally
    this table should store information of groups on AD service
    only, but it
    contains information of all the groups on all services defined
    in ITIM
    at the time of data sync.
    
    Now if we map another group profile say for Win local service
    and run
    data sync, then WINLOCALGROUPPROFILE table gets created and now
    both the
    tables i.e. ADGROUPPROFILE and WINLOCALGROUPPROFILE contain
    information
    of all the groups on all the services present in ITIM.
    
    Steps to Duplicate:
    1. Have two services in ITIM say Win Local service and AD
    service. Have
    groups reconciled in ITIM for both these services.
    2. Go to Reports->Schema Mapping and select entity as "Windows
    Active
    Directory Groups". Map some of the attributes and click on OK
    button.
    3. Run full data synchronization.
    4. Observe that ADGROUPPROFILE  table is created in ITIM
    database. Open
    the table contents and observe that information of groups on Win
    local
    service is also populated in this table.
    
    Desired Behavior: If group profile of a service(e.g. AD service)
    is
    mapped(via Reports->Schema Mapping) in ITIM and data sync is
    run, then
    the table thus generated(e.g. ADGROUPPROFILE  ) in database
    should
    contain information of the groups present on the service under
    consideration. As reported, the table should not contain
    information of
    the groups on any other service present in ITIM.
