Problem summary


    

  • java.lang.management.ThreadMXBean.getThreadInfo(...) walks the
heap to get the list of ownable synchronizers and crashes
because it might access a dead object.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR13
.
GC has been updated to keep a collection of all live ownable
synchronizers. ThreadMXBean has been updated to use that
collection instead of walking the entire heap.
