IV31254: PAYMENT SCHEDULES WITH SAME PAYMENT TYPES FAIL TO CREATE PARTIAL PAYMENTS

APAR status

• Closed as documentation error.

Error description

• Create a lease with 2 payment schedules which start and end on
  the same date and are of the same payment type. Activate the
  lease and wait for the PLI's to be generated. Notice that one of
  the last partial payment PLI's is missing.
  

Local fix

• The only workaround that was provided to the client, but
  rejected. No other known workaround exists.
  

Problem summary

• Two or more payment schedules that have the same payment type,
  have overlapping or identical start and end dates, and generate
  partial payments are missing one of the last partial payments.
  The workaround is to create one payment schedule and activate
  the lease. After the workflows complete the calculation of the
  payment schedule line items, revise the lease. Then create the
  next payment schedule and activate the lease.
  

Problem conclusion

• Development and Strategy will evaluate this scenario for the
  future release.
