    prototypes, the following error message is received:
    
    An unexpected error occurred while retrieving information about
    the service instance with the ID or instance name 773.
    
    CTGBC0053E The service instance with ID 773 could not be found.
    It might have been deleted by another user.

    In TBSM 6.1.0.1, the layout of one of the files used by the
    Custom
    Canvas code changed format layout.  This caused some of the
    automated
    logic to stop functioning, specially in the situations where a
    customer creates a Custom Canvas (which includes a set of
    Service
    Instances).  If at one point the embedded Service Instance(s)
    are
    deleted and then recreated, the automated logic is unable to
    auto
    correct and remap the Service Instance Name to the new Service
    Instance ID.  Again, this only happens when running with TBSM
    6.1.0.1
    

Problem conclusion

  • In TBSM 6.1.0.1, the layout of one of the files used by the
    Custom
    Canvas code changed format layout.  This caused some of the
    automated
    logic to stop functioning, specially in the situations where a
    customer creates a Custom Canvas (which includes a set of
    Service
    Instances).  If at one point the embedded Service Instance(s)
    are
    deleted and then recreated, the automated logic is unable to
    auto
    correct and remap the Service Instance Name to the new Service
    Instance ID.  Again, this only happens when running with TBSM
    6.1.0.1
    
    To address the layout change, two code changes have been made.
    The
    first addresses the actual layout change and normalizes the data
    contained within the file in question (for any Custom Canvases
    created in the future).  For Custom Canvases already affected,
    an
    additional parm has been added to the tbsm_import code (see
    instructions in the APAR for proper execution.
    
    The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
    package:
