    PROBLEM SUMMARY:

In either Business Space or WSRR Web UI, the development role in
GEP is unable to edit an approved business capability to add
    capability version.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem was caused by the error policy definition in the
configuration profile. This policy only allows the Administrator
and SOAGovernance role to perform the update. This fix was to
    remove
    'http://www.ibm.com/xmlns/prod/serviceregistry/lifecycle/v6r3/Li
    fecycleDefinition#CapabilityApproved' from
    "CapabilityLifecycleUpdateRights - Business and SOA
    Governance" in CapabilityLifecycleUpdateRights.xml.

The fix is targeted for inclusion in fixpack 2 of the WSRR 8.0.
