  • Error Message: When insertArguments is called to insert zero
    arguments (ie: new object<OSB>0<CSB>) an
    IndexOutOfBoundsException is seen.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The implementation of MethodHandles.insertArguments assumed that
    there would be at least one argument inserted.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR3
    .
    The JVM has been updated to allow the insertArguments API to
    handle the zero inserted arguments case.
