Problem summary

  • this is caused by the new BigDecimal class in aggressive.jar
    which gets loaded under -Xaggressive. Hardware profile shows
    increased cache miss and GC activities and this can be explained
    by the long living cached string objects introduced in this
    BigDecimal class.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR3
    .
    Remove BigDecimal from aggressive.jar
