Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  
  APAR IV18026 added DB2 V10 support. DB2 V10 FP1 changed the
  interface used by ITM to determine the DB2 version and its
  characteristics such that ITM can no longer determine the
  information it needs.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Install DB2 V10 FP1.
  2. Attempt to install/start the DB2 monitoring agent agent.
  
  LOCAL FIX:

Problem summary

• When attempting to monitor a DB2 V10.1 FP1 or higher level
  database, the Monitoring Agent for DB2 fails to start.  An error
   message similar to the following is displayed:
  KCIIN2208E Unsupported DB2 version detected with db2level
  command.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was fixed to allow the Monitoring Agent for DB2 to
  start correctly.
  
  The fix for this APAR is included in the following maintenance
  vehicle:
