APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Environment: Windows 2003 SP2 running endpoint version 41176 and
TMC from 4.1.1-TMF-0101

Description:
Under certain conditions, the Tivoli Mobile Console shows an
invalid size and progress bar during a distribution download
of large packages then finally stops updating the status.
The distribution runs successfully in the background.

Local fix

  • reduce the distribution nested package size

Problem summary

  • The size of the variables defined in the Tivoli Mobile Computing
console is not large enough to keep the package size.

Problem conclusion

  • The Tivoli Mobile Computing console has been fixed. This fix
will be included in the next Tivoli Management Framework 4.1.1
and 4.3.1 patch for the Tivoli Mobile Computing console.
