Problem summary

  • If a class has two subclasses and only one if it has overriden
    XmlElement of the super class then on marshalling the JAXB
    marshaller disables the
    XmlElement for the subclass which has not overridden XmlElement
    also
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR3
    .
    JVM has been modified to check in runtime if the property is
    overriden or not for specific class.
