Error description

  • Error Message: Although sizes for -Xscminaot and -Xscminjitdata
have been specified, the shared class cache runs out of space
before the specified amount of aot or jitdata has been stored in
    the cache.
    .
    Stack Trace: N/A
    .

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Minimum space reserved for AOT and JIT data in shared class
cache specified by -Xscminaot and -Xscminjitdata options
respectively is not honored by JVM when both options are
    specified.
In presence of both the options, JVM incorrectly calculates the
free bytes available in shared class cache.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR3
    6.0.1 SR4
    .
The JVM has been updated to correctly reserve the minimum space
for AOT and JIT data by -Xscminaot and -Xscminjitdata options
respectively, and to correctly calculate free bytes in the
    shared class cache.
