Problem summary
The algorithm used by identity hashcode was modified in Java 626 sr2 and Java 7 sr1 which introduced a performance regression with heavy use of System.identityHashCode() or the default Object.hashCode() methods.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 6.0.1 SR4 7.0.0 SR3 . Identity hashcode was modified to use a faster algorithm.
