  • Error Message: The customer encountered an exception in the
    Java-based database drivers that are used in his application.
    The code related to these drivers is obfuscated.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The obfuscated code used by the customer was compiled by a
    non-IBM/non-Oracle Java-bytecode compiler. Bytecode constructs
    which are unexpected for the JIT were present, leading to an
    erroneous compilation.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR12
    6.0.1 SR4
    7.0.0 SR3
    .
    The JIT has been fixed to handle the unexpected bytecodes.
