APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Document folder permission propogation problem with platform
  2.7.2.6 and also detected in the 3.1.x series.
  --
  If an environment has many folders, when you propogate the
  folder permission from parent to child, the end result is a java
  heap space error.
  

Local fix

• Work around is to set the Document Traverse flag in
  TRIRIGAWEB.properties to use workflows (instead of code) to
  propagate the permissions.
  

Problem summary

• The Document Management business logic for propigating
  permissions has been moved into a set of Workflows.
  

Problem conclusion

• Workflows now handle the business logic of propigation of
  permissions, with a Custom Task call that applies the record
  level permissions on a single record.
