IV27948: UNEXPECTED CHANGES TO EXPECTED VALUES FOR PLI'S

We may have found a defect with the way Payment Line Items have the Accrual Expense calculated (Striaght-lined). So let s say $1,000 was due in June and the tenant paid us only $500 of that to us in August. So TRIRIGA will split the PLIs when the partial payment is processed. We re clear on that. But regarding the new straight lining it seems to automatically adjust the historic Expected Accrual and the Expected Expense amounts. I guess we re not clear on why historic Expected amounts would change. We re anticipating this may be a problem for PNC but not 100% sure yet that you would call this a defect, so wanted to review that specifically regarding the design intent. This was performed in an OOTB 10.2/3.2.1 environment with all Tririga patches implemented thus far. Attached shows example of how all 'Expected ...' values changed after applying a partial payment.
Partial Payment of the line items has been stated as a document issue. We are planning to revisit this issue next release with product strategy which will enable to pay partial payments within a given month.
