Error description

  • Records unload slow form file when using DB2 as the file
    manager.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When db2 files with large number of records are converted to a
flat file using dtof option of cicsddt command ,it takes a long
    time to complete.

Problem conclusion

  • It is observed that for each record of db2 files processed, the
status is printed out to know the progress of the cicsddt
command. This printing of the status impacts the performance of
the cicsddt command when the db2 file records are large.
cicsddt is modified to print the status only if -v option is
    specified to the command.
