IV27399: THE MEMORY CONSUMPTION OF LIBRARY_PROG1 KEEPS INCREASING WHEN SCHEDULED JOBS ARE RUN EVERY LESS THAN 10 MINUTES.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If scheduled job keeps on running every less than 10 minutes,
  the memory consumption of Library_prog1 keeps increasing.
  

Local fix

• launch task or jobs longer than 10 minutes interval.
  

Problem summary

• The memory consumption of Library_prog1 increases at least when
  tasks or jobs with profile managers as execution targets are run
  and when a "wgetallinst -l ProfileEndpoint" command is issued.
  The timeout of Library_prog1 is 10 minutes. If operations
  against Library_prog1 are issued less than 10 minutes,
  Library_prog1 persists. the memory consumption keeps increasing.
  Although "double click any region" also launches Library_prog1,
  the memory consumption does not increase.
  
  There was un-freed data in the function called by task_endpoint
  at least when tasks or jobs with profile managers as execution
  targets were run.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem was fixed by freeing the un-freed data. This fix
  will be included in a future patch.
