Problem summary

  • IMPROVED_XSI_TYPE_HANDLING  property can be enabled or disabled
by setting it to true or false while creating the context and
one cannot configure the property if  the context is created by
JAXWS runtime.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
7.0.0 SR3
.
JVM has been modified to  pick up IMPROVED_XSI_TYPE_HANDLING
System property while creating JAXBContext
