  • Error Message: Unhandled Exception with vmState 0x00000000

Local fix

  • This issue can be worked around using "-Xjit:disableInlining",
but will have a very significant performance impact.

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when a method cannot be recompiled, yet
some NOPable inline guards are expecting this is the case.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
7.0.0 SR1
6.0.1 SR2
6.0.0 SR11
5.0.0 SR14
.
The JIT has been updated to ensure that when a method cannot be
recompiled, we will not use a NOPable inline guard.
