IV26904: JVM CRASHES WHEN OPENING NON-PERSISTENT SHARED CLASS CACHE IN RE AD-ONLY MODE WITH A MEMORY CONTROL FILE OF 0 SIZE
Closed as program error.
Error Message: Segmentation error occurs when a user tries to use a non-persistent shared class cache in read-only mode with a memory control file of 0 size. . Remove the control files by using -Xshareclasses:destroy option and retry.
The problem occurs when the memory control file of a non-persistent shared class cache is of 0 size. Using such a cache in read-only mode specified by -Xsharedclasses:readonly option results in JVM to crash.
This defect will be fixed in: 6.0.1 SR3 7.0.0 SR2 . JVM has been fixed to display a proper error message when it tries to attach to a non-persistent shared class cache with memory control file of size 0 bytes in read-only mode.
