Error description

• Error Message: JVMDUMP039I Processing dump event "thrstart",
  detail "" at 2012/08/20 16:35:18 - please wait.
  JVMDUMP032I JVM requested Java dump using
  'C:\test\javacore.20120820.163518.2308.0001.txt' in response to
  an event
  Note the absence of the corresponding JVMDUMP010I and
  JVMDUMP013I messages that indicate that the java dump completed
  successfully.

  Stack Trace: N/A

  The JVM may appear to hang, with no further response from the
  Java application. A truncated java dump may be produced.
  

Local fix

• Disable native thread stack generation in the java dump using
  JVM option "-Xdump:java:request=exclusive". This overrides  the
  default setting for java dumps which is
  "request=exclusive+preempt".
  

Problem summary

• The problem is caused if the native thread stack collection in a
  java dump interrupts a thread which is inside a kernel OS
  function.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.0 SR11
  .
  The JVM java dump code has been updated to prevent the hang from
  occurring.
